The Interior Design Process works in stages:
Phase One: Consultation
Phase Two: Presentation
Phase Three: Ordering and Production procedures that culminate into the final installation
Phase One is the Consultation, which takes place at the client’s location and consists of a question and answer session with the designers. This is where you, (the client) will describe your design needs.
From concept to completion; interior design work ranges from remodels and new construction selections to the creative use of existing spaces. Below is a list of services we provide:
Residential - Complete Interiors, Commercial -Complete Interiors, kitchens, bathrooms, remodels, lofts, product design furnishings, fireplaces, entertainment centers, space planning, lighting design, custom mill-work, hardware and plumbing selections, flooring, custom tile designs, window coverings and complete interior and exterior furnishings.
Some of the questions we may ask are regarding color, fabric, furniture styles, cabinet designs, interior selections and other preferences associated with your design needs. Ultimately, we use this information to give you a complete design scheme, so feel free to tell us ALL the details.
During the Consultation, Phase One we take photographs and measurements of your surroundings. We ask to see all the major areas of your home, even if you are not requesting our assistance in those areas. Our goal is to create continuity in all areas of your home.
In the next step, Phase Two.....the Presentation, the designer begins the creative process of developing a scheme individually suited to your needs. A CAD (Computer Aided Drawing) floor plan of your requested design area is created using the measurements taken at the Consultation. After a few weeks we then present you with the comprehensive design. You see fabrics, finishes, colors, samples, furniture, window treatments, CAD plan, furniture layout and other preferences associated with your design needs—anything necessary for us to give you a clear mental picture of your transformed environment. At this time, detailed pricing is presented to you for each specific item (sofa, chair, window treatment, etc.).
With the Presentation of the detailed design scheme, Phase One and Phase Two are complete. You are encouraged to analyze our comments, ideas, options, and suggestions. When you are ready to move into Phase Three, you are giving us the permission to begin the Invoice, Ordering and Production process.
